I set one up at Christmas time - through which my mother could buy my children their gifts. I heard that tip on Twitter - it was a great idea, I thought! Next year I'll do it even earlier!

And I do love the way that they look. I think they may be those ....iframes or something - so that maybe they don't rank well in the search engines? Perhaps someone else could pop in and tell us what I'm talking about! LOL

The one thing that I have heard is that the conversions are nowhere near as high as text links and product reviews written about individual products. That just seems to work so much better.

I do really like them, though....

I have a few Amazon a stores but haven't really done much with them, just practice for now.

I have heard the same as Lisa that text links and product reviews convert better but I guess it's worth a shot since they are pretty simple to set up.

What were you thinking about adding to your a store?

Hi lisamariemary,

It's nice to here from you. However, how did you promote your aStore?

Sorry I missed this other question of yours - I just sent the link to my mother to buy gifts for my children for Christmas.

This year, maybe I'll set it up WAY earlier (hmm...thinking here...) my kids have Sept. and Nov. bdays, too - so maybe I'll set it up at the end of the summer and promote it more than I did last year.

I need to focus more on my Amazon store. I get frustrated when I can't figure techie things out and just leave it by the wayside.

As for promoting it, I'm not currently doing anything with it but I just read that you can integrate it into a page on your blog or something like that so I'm going to have to see if I can handle that techie side of things.

As for putting it on your site, about a year or so ago, I was advised not to use iframes for it, which I think integration with your site would use. I don't know if I forgot the reason, or the person never told me the reason - but, I don't know it. LOL

I'll have to ask her about that.
