Clickbank Apologise for NOT paying me

Postby Fiachra Kavanagh » Sat Jan 12, 2008 3:59 pm

I’ve been slowly making some clickbank sales. Not really promoting them in any major way. Anyway I met the minimum requirement about 3 months ago for payment. By that I mean sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard. (PayPal, re-bills and eCheck don’t count)

I emailed them a few days ago asking why my check hadn’t been issued, and they replied saying that I didn’t meet the min requirement. I then wrote backing saying that I had clocked up 8 different sales since late 2006 all with different cards, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard. They replied again saying that I still hadn’t met the min requirment.

I was now a little peed off, so I wrote to the them for the 3rd time, and I included details of each of the 8 transactions. Yesterday I got a mail from them apologising for their error, and that a cheque would be issued on the next issue date.

All Im saying is don’t take their automatic word for it, if you feel you are due your first check.

Interesting - Thanks for sharing that, Fiachra.

I've rarely ever had a problem receiving payment for affiliate commissions. But there were a few times, and I also had to be proactive about the matter to get it resolved. Great reminder - I certainly wouldnt have expected that out of ClickBank. They've always worked like clockwork on my end.

I can only remember one time not being paid by clickbank and that actually occured this year.

I have been using them since they first opened in fact I remember when they were still working from home base.

Somehow this year some glitch in their system was preventing my checks coming.

A simple message to them got the checks rollin again....

That's very interesting indeed, I've never been paid even a single day late by ClickBank, not have I heard of people have issues with this often. At least it got cleared up :)

I don't think I have ever had a problem either and I have been using them for years.
