I believe you are making affiliate marketing far more complicated than it has to be.

I agree with nar321 only really try those programs that your really passionate about. Stay Focused.

You do not have to keep promoting an affiliate program. however if you are passionate about a program you will promote it over and over again.

As for deleting posts - don't!
I personally don't think you should ever delete a post on your blog, even if you make a mistake - just correct it with another post.

thank you both for your advice. I will try to concentrate on a few programs I really know and like.

As for posting comments on my blog, I had to turn the feature off when I was getting almost 100 spam comments a day. I now have Akismet installed and it is stopping them. I turned the comment feature back on, but maybe it doesn't apply to old posts unless I go back and do each of them manually?
