Promoting Affiliate Programs with Hub Pages

Postby marketraisecorp » Mon May 07, 2007 6:49 am

HubPages is a revenue sharing web community that allows you to create web pages (known as hubs) about specific topics. You can then earn money through Google Adsense or by promoting Amazon and eBay products. When anyone makes a purchase through your listed Amazon or eBay products, you’ll get commission from that sale.
Here are some possible benefits of setting up a hub:
# You can direct traffic from HubPages to your website or blog.
# Potential to improve your website’s search engine ranking positions.
You can promote your affiliate link for specific products, programs or websites.
QUESTION)How does one make the most money from Hub Page?
answer)Here’s the bottom line. Revenue sharing through Adsense is not a reliable way to make money online. I’ve tried similar revenue sharing programs for some time and have concluded that you’ll probably just earn less than or equal to a dollar a day.Four Ways to Integrate your Hub Page with Affiliate Programs
1. Pinpoint your hub. Only focusing on a specific niche can make it easier to aggressively promote the affiliate program.

For example, If you’re planning to sell software, create product review pages. This works well with a variety of online merchants. Find products to promote using Clickbank.
2. Include affiliate text links within your content. You can also direct readers to your blog, website or squeeze page.
3. Monetize your outgoing links by using Usercash or Link Bucks. This make you money every time someone clicks on your link.

Try not to overdo it because some visitors might be turned off by the ads.
4. Use image hosts that pay to put up thumbnails, screen shots or mini picture galleries. You’ll earn money for every one who clicks on your pictures. These usually works best on topics such as celebrities, entertainment or humor.

Think of HubPages as something like a blog. You can use it to write a product review, and then you can link to the product you are promiting via the article you write on your HubPages. Its a little more effective than using an Ezine, because you are allowed to direct link and there are less distractions for the reader to look at. Check it out!

So can you give us an example of a hub page? Or is WealthyAffiliateReview.net your hub page?

Below is a Hubpages my buddy Thad did on The Free Web Design Ebook, which is a free ebook we co-authored on where to find free website templates and software. Hubpages basically gave us another outlet to advertise through, and it was totally free. Here is the link:

I have never heard of Hub pages. There is always something new on the internet I guess. From the example you gave of your hub page it looked a lot like a blog. Have you tried creating a lens at squidoo.com. A lens is also like a blog but you can add more content, videos, links to other resources and so on.

Search Engines like fresh content and will go crazy over blogs, lens and your hub pages too.

To Your Success,
Les

Thanks for sharing the topic about hub pages, we can sign up for an account on hub pages and choose user name and can create a hub page by including keyword phrase in the title, keyword phrase in the hub address and by using relevant tags.

Hi,

Squidoo is really a good alternative of hubpages. I prefer to use squidoo instead of hubpages because it's less strict than hubpages. It's also useful to get backlinks to your website and it's little bit tough to make your backlinks dofollow in hubpages.
