Context Links by Amazon

Amazon has just announced the beta release of Context Links, which will automatically link words and phrases to products on Amazon.com - complete with your Affiliate ID of course! This would be ideal for monetizing large content sites or blogs - without editing them page by page.

Hi Lynn,

I'm taking a bit of a wait-and-see attitude on this one.

I used to make most of my income from Amazon.com, several years ago, but it has almost dried up now.

I think I earned about $4.00 last month, compared to several hundred dollars per quarter a few years ago.

I'm not sure I want to put code on my site that can link to products I might not want to promote.

I don't love it, don't hate it, and don't know if I really want to try it.

I'd love to hear about your results with the new context linking.
