Hundreds of referrals to clickbank product but not one sale

Hello,

Since a few months, my first affiliate website was launch with adsense and a link to one clickbank e-book. Since then, according to the counter I set up, hundreds of people have referred to it through Clickbank but according to Clickbank's "statistics", I haven't made a single sale yet. I find that hard to believe. I know for a fact that the e-book I am promoting is in high demand.

And of course, Clickbank only displays sales made and not the number of referrals made.

Does anyone else has or had the same problem ? Am I doing something wrong ? The url to my site is listed below.

If you're using the wrong tool to cloak your links, that could be the problem.

Instead of having a text box smack in the middle of
the articles recommending the ebook, I suggest you
get rid of the box and blend the ebook promotion
into the articles either at the end or have inline link
using some of the keywords in the articles. I'm
assuming these are either original articles or ones
with PLR.

How do you know you've referred hundreds of
people to the program? Are you actually tracking
the clicks that are made on the link or were you
referring to the web stats program you're using?
If you're just tracking page impressions, this isn't
the same.

Also your tracking may be diluted with untargeted
traffic. Many times not everyone who lands on your
page are looking for that particular product. For
example, if you have a weight-los signature on a
marketing forum, you may get clicks from people
who are just curious to see your site. They may
just want to see how your site looks like and stuff.

Furthermore, if you're not tracking the actual clicks
made on your affiliate link, many visitors who goes
to your site may be taken away by the adsense
ads.

Check your adsense stats. You may want to test to
see which is more profitable, with or without
adsense.

Something you could do to help you with sales is to set up an ezine/autoresponder course to collect email addresses from the people visiting your site.

That way you are leveraging your advertising dollars by continuing to keep your website and product in front of that person for a longer period of time.

Also, I would also like to know what type of tracking you are using. How is the traffic coming to your site? Adwords? Search Engine traffic? Submitted articles?

Knowing that stuff would help a lot in finding where your problem is in the referral/sales ratio.

Have you tested this redirect link yourself? It may be worth the price of the product to walk through the sales process and test your link. If it tracks the sale, then you can troubleshoot elsewhere. If not, then you'll know where the problem lies.
