Which clickbank storefront scripts is the best one?

I don't promote the storefront at all. I just used mod-rewrite to make
the links more search engine friendly, and hope the search engines
pick up the pages, and maybe get some free traffic from them.
I do much better by making my own webpages, promoting one product
per page, and then advertising these pages in the pay per clicks. Look
for some good products from Clickbank, then I try to get permission from
the merchant to link directly to the order form, this works very well
for me. I've made a few sales from the storefront, but nothing to brag
about.

It looks like you must have gotten a little insulting with your
latest post attempts on the CBBOMB forum. It is best to try
and stay civil about this, that usually works best for me. You
don't want to get Kurt on your bad side, I have had my
disagreements with him in the past also, but he is a good
guy. Looks like you have been banned from that forum.

Maybe he is still in hospital. If so, it is understandable. Thank you for your suggestions to me. Maybe I am aggressive. But I don't think I insulted somebody. Anway, as I said just now, it depends on how the "insult" was defined there.

I have made a list about problems I have found so far.

cbbomb problems list

All problems below are based on the cbbomb mx v2, which I purchased and downloaded from the vendor website on Feb 24. All codes keep unchanged (unless footer.htm and header.htm)

1. Only one page can be displayed

Problem: No matter how many item there are in the category, you can only get one page with given ammount of itmes

Example: http://www.winaffiliate.com/mall2/cbbom ... b&results=

There should be 10 pages but here only one page. If you change results=20, then you get one page with 20 items, still one

page. See this:

2. Wrong sub-categories items

Prblem: The script does not syndicate with clickbank in sub-category list

Only 7 sub-categories are listed here while in fact, there are 11. You may verify it in clickbank:

3. Search error

Search the same keyword "google" in this URL

4. Cookie alert

Click any clickbank item link through cbbomb, notice your IE browser (right bottom), find the red privacy (cookie) alert.

It seems abnormal. If you use this URL

There is no IE privacy alert and no delay in opening the window at all

5. Delay in opeing window

Frequently, it takes long time to open (clickbank product) window through cbbomb (links.pl)

Compare the time to open these two windows:

However, I am not sure if it is due to it spends more time to connect with affiliate's website while it is very fast to connect clickbank.com. If it is in this case, then it is normal.

6. frameset

Open the link.pl file. you find this:

It is weird to find frameset here since when opening windows, it seems no frames. I tried to replace $b_affil with some value (affiliate name), and the URL does not work, 404 page not found error

7. Other
In the .htacess file I downloaded, the author also made an obvious mistake.

Coz my ID was banned in the product forum due to "insulting words", I don't want to post any thread there. And all the "insulting words" are that after asking questions several times and getting answers (the author did reply)--which is unrevelent answers to questions, I used the words "I wish you could understand what we are talking about (the problem)"

Except for items 5 and 6, you do have valid concerns here and I
understand you wanting to get this working correctly for yourself.
Unfortunately, Gil happened to have health problems at the same
time, and I have just heard that he is still having health problems.

Regarding #5, delay in opening window, I have tried these links and
do not experience the delay. It seems to open fast for me. There
could be a lot of reasons for this, the merchant's site may have
been having problems, Clickbank's servers may have been slow,
or if you are on dial-up sometimes backbone connections can have
problems. But it doesn't seem to be a problem for me.

Regarding #6, try the following hoplink:

Replace YOURNICKNAME with your clickbank nickname. This will take
you to the CBBOMB site. This script prints a link at the bottom of the
page with your hoplink, which should give you credit if anyone purchases
CBBOMB through your link. This link to CBBOMB is not showing on my
pages because I removed this part from the script.
And all of the links from this script are opening in a frame. You don't
notice it, because Clickbank automatically redirects sites that open in
a frame to a top window. They do not allow sites to open in a frame.
This is what is also causing the cookie to be blocked, since the site is
opening in a frame IE6 considers this a third party site and blocks the
cookie. This is a serious issue which I think needs to be corrected with
the script.

Your other issues are valid concerns, and I would like answers to these
also. I have done everything I know what to do, I don't know of
anything else I can do for this. Unfortunately, Gil is very sick and his
health is taking priority over other concerns right now.
