On May 1st, 2006, I was at our Kanosis Offices in Cyprus and I got to personally experience our launch in real-time. The synergy of skill, dedication and energy that came together to make this possible for all of us, was truly amazing. This passion and 24/7 commitment that is shared around the world by our Kanosis members, is what is going to drive Kanosis to its anticipated success.

MAY IS: MAKE AN IMPACT MONTH!
Member Mission: Introduce 1 Friend in May


Our May 1st, 2006 Kanosis worldwide launch is now official. With a combined total of 111,900 ‘Kanosis’ Yahoo and Google search results and a ranking that places us in the top 20,000 out of millions of websites online today (alexa.com) - the world is definitely beginning to know Kanosis!

Our first week post-launch, Kanosis members created 1,117 Avatars and 345 Personal Websites. Coil Sparc (http://coilsparc.kanosis.com) was another big hit with members, bringing in lots of raving reviews and spreading fast.

Although we’ve had a disappointing result with one of our Promotional Videos, which was due to launch on the 1st of May, we are rapidly preparing additional marketing material that will help our members introduce Kanosis. For the launch we also created a new media center with 2 new videos and we will continue to up-date it with new promotional tools as these become available.

The future of Kanosis that can positively impact millions of lives should remain our primary focus when introducing Kanosis. The product offering that Kanosis members receive for their $22 monthly subscription is of incredible value. The combination of product, benefits, features and opportunity, that Kanosis offers its members, are unmatched by anything else out there today. 3. Establishing our infrastructure
In March, Kanosis successfully moved into its new centrally located Nicosia offices, in Cyprus. The Kanosis Operations building is located on one of the busiest commercial avenues of the Cypriot capital city, a perfect complement to the Kanosis Administration offices in Newport Beach, California, USA.

Kanosis members can now benefit from the latest in Avatar technology. You can use any of our existing Avatars and messages or you can have a go at creating your own interactive avatars, to deliver your personalized Kanosis invitations.

7. COIL Internet Operating System Developments

Coil Internet Operating System, integrates in one application all the ‘must have’ functions of the most popular desktop software. The currently available version of Coil provides an application where you can plan, organise, prioritize, communicate and share information within the Kanosis community in a secure environment.

Since the start of the pre-registration phase Kanosis has been working on both technical and functional upgrades to Coil.

The Kanosis development and technical departments have been working together to improve the system’s architecture. Users will notice a significant improvement in performance in the newly released version of Coil. We are now also able to confirm that included with each Kanosis Coil membership is 2 GB of storage space of that you can use for securing your important personal files.

In addition to many ‘behind the scenes’ improvements, there has also been an extensive revamp of the user interface. Our aim was to further simplify the Coil workflow by ensuring the most efficient use of screen space and to add in more functions without creating a busy, cluttered feel. To do this we have integrated the message center, simplified the Desktops, To Do List and Calendar and made better use of the panels for previewing and working. The final result is a fully integrated workspace with more functions, available in a user interface that looks much cleaner and a lot more sleek.

Though a lot of improvements have been made, two key functions will be of particular interest to people developing their network of contacts within the community.

The first is the Message Center, which as mentioned previously, has been fully integrated into the core Coil functions. Now you can switch between the planning and organizational tools and the Message Center in just one mouse click. The Message Center provides access to all your messages including emails, multimedia, instant messaging (IM), and mapped external accounts in an expandable tree. You can scroll through lists of messages automatically sorted by type, project or contact.

The second is Coil Sparc our instant messaging software that you can use to chat with other Kanosians. Coil Sparc provides all the standard chat and chat room functions as well as Soundboards.

Other functions that are currently in development include Coil for Businesses and Coil Meetings, as well as VOIP and the ability to chat through your very own avatar.
