Hi Lynn,

What if an author (me ) doesn't want to require people to send her an email to inform they want to publish her article? Because when someone wants to republish many articles, I think it will be difficult to email each of the authors. So he might decide to republish less articles.

The harder you make it for them to publish your article, the lesser people will do it.

Thanks!

That's not a requirement - just a suggestion.

As the author, I love to get an email from those publishing my articles. It's a great way to make good contacts, too. However, most dont - which is fine as well.

Typically it is a good idea to review the editorial guidelines of websites before submitting articles. Most sites like articles around 600 to 900 words since the internet is a quick medium. Some sites like articles up to 1500 to 2000 words so they can split up the content to show more ads. Reading a few articles from the site should give you an idea what they are looking for.

The Internet is very much about speed and writing short articles is a plus.

Ezine articles is the top article directory and merely requires that articles are 250 words long.
