Since spam is so common and such a problem, there are many laws and rules in effect that are applied to help protect the privacy of the internet users from spamming and unwanted mails. With the popularity of email because of the low cost, many companies have used this as an opportunity and have flooded many internet users with tons of unwanted promotional emails.

But, with an opt-in list, you avoid this annoyance because people subscribe to the list. They want to receive the newsletters and promotional materials you will be sending them.

If you use a list that does not support the removal of users requesting to be removed, make sure that you remove them. It just isn’t worth keeping them.

3) Do not provide adult material or content in your emails. Since it can be hard to determine the age of the email recipient, many complaints may arise from these types of emails. Stay away from controversial issues too!
