What impact has Lynn Terry had on the life of Jim Mann?
First I feel I should mention that two names come to mind at this point.
Lynn Terry and Mike Merz. Without these two fantastic friends I would
still be sitting in my office never expressing myself.
So thank you Lynn and thank you Mike you are two of my closes friends.
I have many friends but I never get close, just my background I guess.
The two of you have never asked one thing of me other than to share and
that is what makes you both so special to me.
What's in it for me, is just not in your vocabulary.
I will admit that my memory is not always clear but I do know that I
have only known Lynn a short time and she has taught me the value
of sharing, even if it is a little embarrassing.
You can go through life "closed off" and have friends, but you will never
have close friends that you can share things with. You will only have
associates that you call friends.
Lynn Terry my dearest friend has opened my eyes, not by her words,
but by her actions and actions do speak far louder than words.
In the past I would not have opened my heart to anyone. (Even my wife
knows how closed I can be, but she still loves me.) To me, again because
of my past, opening up is just an opportunity for a personal attack.
Lynn's selfless (if that is the word) nature allows her to share what she
feels and seeing and feeling that has allowed me to start doing the same.
So again, "how has Lynn impacted my life?" Word can not express...
