Do we have any Sci-Fi readers here? This whole thread, and forum reminds me of Spider Robinson's "Callahan's Place". It's a friendly uplifting place where troubles are lessened and joys are increased. I have seen many people refer to this forum as "Lynn's Place" and couldn't help make the connection.
Maybe someone else has read the books, agrees with me, and can explain it better than I. I just loved the books and always hoped I'd find Callahan's Place, and it seems I have!!

Ouch - I just admitted loving sci-fi and fly-fishing both in the same week... publicly - I think I'm turning into a morph of my ex-husbands! Hmm... I should probably mention that I like to cook, love to clean house, enjoy tea parties and always keep my nails painted (who am I kidding?!) haha
