MY QUOTE...

LIFE-LONG FULFILLMENT
©Lee Wise

Being able to say at the end of my life:
"I am living now with few regrets.

As far as my past is concerned,
I have faced my failings, made positive
adjustments where needed, and moved
on with a sense of humility and gratitude
for the gift of life."

"I AM LIVING NOW WITH FEW REGRETS"

I enjoy knowing that the word "regret" does not enshroud my
heart with a low grade -- but ever present -- sense of
despair.

Instead...

I am enjoying a sense of satisfaction regarding who I am at
the moment because of the person I have worked hard to
become in the past.

"I HAVE FACED MY FAILINGS"

I have not allowed my shortcomings to take shelter in the
unapproachable wastelands of my mind.

Rather...

I have acknowledged their presence, addressed them by their
real names, and diagnosed their effects on my life.

"MADE POSITIVE ADJUSTMENTS WHERE NEEDED"

I acted on my diagnosis.

I made steps to change direction and build new habit
patterns for the purpose of becoming a better me in the
future.

If something needed to be let go, I let it go.

"MOVED ON WITH A SENSE OF HUMILITY AND GRATITUDE"

I am grateful for who I am, the potential I have, and the
realization that no one is truly an island. Someone, at
some time, in some capacity has contributed to my being the
person I am today and person I will become tomorrow.

And...

Being fully aware of the fine line that exists between a
healthy confidence in my abilities and a prideful arrogance
that has led so many to fall, I am moving forward.

"FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE"

I view my life as a gift and a trust.

As I gift, I am aware that today could be my last. I
treasure life, and I treasure my life.

As a trust, I am aware of my responsibility to be the best
person I can be.
