I have been hearing/reading a bit about MSN's live.com and how it may be a bit quicker way of getting indexed and a lot of older marketing methods still work.
Google is number 1 obviously, but I am thinking of starting campaigns aimed at MSN instead.
Any thoughts?

Well, I don't think that there is any specific tactics to rank well in any specific search engine like MSN, etc...
As all we know yahoo gives more weighted to on-page optimization and google consider more link building so if we focus on both on-page and off-page factors, we can get well ranking in all major search engines.
