Google Taking More Control????

Has anyone else seen Google's new feature on Natural Search, the "ranking arrow". On each natural search item, there is a feature to interactively "vote" on whether you think a search feature should be moved up or down.

What does everyone think of this new interactive feature with Google?

Oh yuck, I am not liking this at all. If google does in fact average Joe to rank up or rank down sites this could get nasty. Just imagine the harassment from the competitors. I've already been a target by a competitor with my yahoo Answers. I don't need them to spam "remove" my site on searches.

Oh I just read up on it. It seems that the promote or remove only has to do with your google account and shouldn't effect your real ranking or anything. But your notes and ranking preferences do become public which I do not like. I won't be using that feature.

It will get exploited by competitors who will try their best to bring down natural rankings of other competitor sites.

I wonder if natural results are converting into paid results
