Rank Checking Software?

Postby Publisher-For-You » Sun Sep 21, 2008 1:09 pm

Is anyone using this software to check your search engine positions? If yes, I'd be grateful for your review?

http://www.advancedwebranking.com/

If not, how do you monitor your positions in the search engines?

Thanks.

If all you want to do is check your rankings, they you can just download and install the Google toolbar. To search other engines, you can use the tool you mentioned, although I've never used it or you can try SEO Elite. I think it's a little cheaper.

Some of these automated softwares do not allow you to check rankings from Google.com (UK).

They will only allow you to either check your positions on Google.co.uk or any other Google.ca etc etc.

However, I use Google adwords preview tool to check rankings from any region or country.

Check this link : https://adwords.google.com/select/AdTar ... reviewTool

I am sure you will find it helpful while checking rankings for a particular region.

I found this Firefox extension for rank checking.

It's free, and looks promising so far.

The M6.Net Link Checker is an extremely easy to use, free link checker tool that allows you to check other sites for your link or text. A highly useful and essential tool for webmasters to make sure that your reciprocal link is still up on a site that traded links with you!!

Here's a nice rank checker:

http://www.sheerseo.com

Mac Users Note: SheerSeo is an online service, so no Windows software needed. (Also, advancedwebranking.com has a Mac OSX 10.4 version available)

SheerSeo has a 3 month free demo. Looks pretty nice to me. Easy to use, but pretty much data there is you want it.

After demo, you must pay monthly. Plans range from $7 - $15 per month.

SheerSeo is the easiest way to monitor rankings I've seen so far, at least for Mac users. Thumbs up.

Hi
I am using following tool. It gives me more accurate results.

http://www.ventio.se/seo-tools/google-position/

First try it and check the Google position by using the site link and verify how close the result is.

My vote goes for SEO Elite. It's far from perfect, but I find it does everything I need for checking my rankings.

Cheers

I've tried out lots of rank tracking software and found Rank Tracker to be hands down the best. It's the fastest and the most accurate one out there. Supports all SEs I can only think of. Great reporting and a powerful keyword research tool on board. Give it a try there's a free edition

Thanks for the links for ventio.se rank checking tool. Excellent tool.

I have been using the Firefox plug-in tool (rankchecker) but it stopped returning google results last week. I needed a replacement - looks like I found it. Thanks!
