What to do please?

I have just gone to google webmaster tools, and put the following url in on the add url,

http://www.trickle.ws/GDI_splash_index.htm

and got this message

You have entered a URL to a file. Please enter the site URL.

Yet the url I have below, is a url, what does this mean please, and what do I have to do, thanks.

To me it looks like a page not a site. From my understanding a site has more pages to it that are accessible thought the main page

It is only one page, it is a splash page. How can I turn this page, into a website in googles eyes please?

There must be millions of single websites on the net, it is not unusual.

The first thing I recommend you do is get rid of the splash page.

Your main page should contain content and links to other pages on your site.

(The exception to this is a one-page sales letter. But you wouldn't want to SEO that, because the goal of the sales letter site is to sell, not to rank well in the engines.)

What is the purpose of your site? Are you selling or informing? Who is your audience? What are your goals?
