BANS Keyword Question

I'm trying to finish up my first BANS site and I'd like to know about keyword placement.

In the application there is a space to put keywords.

If I have a store with specific categories of products would it be smart to put each category name in the keyword listing along with the keyword my site title is based on?

Or would that be seen as spamming?

Just add the keywords that you are concentrating on to the list of the earlier keywords.Use A single meta tag for them.The only problem you might face is that your title relevancy will be matched for the new keywords which might just effect your SERP's for the old keywords.The reason for this is that the Google spiders cache on to the latest content that is added to your site.

Hi Jeff,

Each page needs to be optimized individually. If you are talking about adding all of those keyword phrases to the keyword meta tag of the main page... that wont dont any good - its just a waste of time. It doesnt carry any weight with the major search engines in regards to SEO, and may be considered "keyword stuffing" if they pay any attention to it at all. Stick to what is on THAT page - for each individual page of your site.
